Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months Wayne Sanderson employee.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Detail oriented; strong English communication, written and verbal; multi-language ability preferred.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Production & QA teams to ensure proper handling and timely correction of deficiencies.
• Monitor lines and paperwork to confirm product specifications are met.
• Verify and help enforce GMPs.
• Verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets are correctly adhered, printed, sealed and stacked; receive raw materials and inform QA leaders if any product fails specs.
• Assist production with day-to-day quality problems to reach workable solutions.
• Ensure microbiological swabs and samplings are performed at correct times and positions.
• Assist in enforcing quality and food safety policies and procedures; follow all company policies.
• All other duties as assigned.
