Hopscotch Primary Care seeks a Sr. Analyst, Health Plan Analytics to turn claims and clinical data into actionable insights supporting value-based care performance.

You will mature the data foundation, maintain the claims model, and build reporting infrastructure for financial close, clinical review, and performance management. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 3+ years in healthcare analytics.
• Strong SQL, Power BI and Excel proficiency with healthcare data.
• Experience with claims data, multi-source data integration, and risk adjustment concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Hopscotch's cost categorization capability, including customizations and mappings.
• Maintain governance and documentation for payer data and cost categorization capabilities.
• Develop and sustain the medical economics reporting suite (SQL, Power BI, Excel) and support IBNR estimation, cohort forecasting, and paid-risk pacing.
• Review monthly outputs to surface cost drivers and trends, distinguishing real movement from incomplete data and noise.
• Analyze medical cost trends across unit cost, utilization, mix; enrich claims with EHR, eligibility, provider, and risk data to explain population trends.
• Collaborate with medical economics and finance leadership to deliver high-impact analyses including pro forma and ROI for cost initiatives.
• Partner with Clinical, Operations, and Finance to translate business questions into analyses and ensure results feed management reporting.
