Job summary

Aptive seeks a Senior Communications Products Specialist to plan, write, and produce communications for the VA OCI on the OIP contract. You’ll craft newsletters, web content, deployment messaging, and outreach materials for clinicians, informaticists, and partners nationwide.

Work within SAFe Agile teams to align communications with feature delivery, while ensuring accessibility standards and VA branding. Remote work option available for US-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in communications or public relations.
• Experience writing, editing, and producing information products for varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop communication plans and calendars for informatics initiatives.
• Write, edit, and produce newsletters, web content, briefings, and infographics.
• Manage content for communities of practice and outreach channels.
• Create deployment messaging for EHR transitions and health IT changes.
• Draft press materials and responses for government review and release.
• Schedule and guide content for social media channels and measure engagement.
