Job summary

UNC Health seeks a technically skilled IT professional to provide development, testing, integration and implementation support for applications and interfaces across the health system.

This remote, full-time role supports the ISD Business and Revenue Cycle within Shared Services and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
• Four (4) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Six (6) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience with an Associate’s degree.
• Eight (8) years of IT systems and/or related operational experience with a High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Assists other IT teams with selection and provides technical evaluation of products/tools to ensure enterprise-wide requirements.
• Develops and maintains documentation to describe program development and troubleshooting and updates system documentation.
• Evaluates requests and designs for new/modified programs to determine feasibility and compatibility with current systems.
• Acts as a technical consultant to the health system and supports system-wide initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Provides updates to management and stakeholders on progress and issues.
