Job summary

Alliance Health in Morrisville, NC seeks an Applications Configuration Specialist to act as a subject matter expert on core business functions, processes, workflows, and product configuration for healthcare management software. The role partners IT, business units, and vendor support to design and implement new requirements.

The position is full-time remote with NC residency; some onsite travel to Morrisville may be required. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience configuring software applications in healthcare IT environments.
• Strong SQL (T-SQL) and SSRS knowledge with data loading and reporting.
• Proficient in C#, XML/JSON data handling, HL7 FHIR, and PowerBI.
• Understand SDLC and agile teamwork; able to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor-level IT education or equivalent and 5+ years in configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and support for the Application product line.
• Manage data loads, workflows, rules, and reporting configurations.
• Review design changes and advise on alternatives and risks.
• Coordinate documentation and version control for migrations.
• Oversee end-to-end testing and debugging of configurations.
• Communicate technical issues in business terms to units.
