Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Senior Healthcare Application Analyst to support clinical applications and medical device integrations that enable patient care and operations. You will collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to design, implement, and optimize healthcare technology solutions, including Epic integrations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in healthcare IT or related fields, with strong interoperability knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
5+ years in healthcare IT, clinical applications, or related areas preferred.
Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7, APIs) preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead projects, implementations, or initiatives.

Responsibilities

Supports clinical applications and medical device integrations with enterprise systems.
Leads or participates in implementations, upgrades, and go-live activities.
Serves as escalation point for complex application and workflow issues.
Analyzes clinical workflows and their relation to technical environments.
Partners with stakeholders to design, implement and optimize healthcare tech solutions.
Assists with onboarding and training as needed.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
