Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Senior Clinical & Health Informaticist to challenge the status quo of healthcare through informatics. You will independently perform workflow analysis and functional design for EHR and HIT initiatives, and help implement training, adoption and process improvements across facilities.

You will liaise with clinicians, business and development teams to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered solutions, leveraging advanced informatics to lead complex projects

Qualifications

• Demonstrated informatics experience with gap analysis, usability assessments and clinical workflow analysis.
• Experience influencing clinicians and leaders in decision-making and conflict resolution.
• Experience applying informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to improve quality and safety.
• Experience leading complex informatics projects or portfolios across healthcare domains.
• Experience with EHR vendors (Cerner/Epic) or other HIT systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows and design for EHR/ HIT initiatives.
• Act as liaison with clinicians, business and IT teams to ensure safe, user-friendly solutions.
• Lead or support implementation, training, adoption and process improvements.
• Perform independent project work with limited supervision and strong attention to detail.
• Observe workflows across facilities and engage stakeholders for system optimization.
