Intermountain Health seeks a Senior Clinical & Health Informaticist to transform healthcare through informatics. You will independently perform workflow and system analysis for EHR and HIT initiatives, lead design and training, and collaborate with clinicians and IT teams to ensure safe, efficient solutions.

The role requires strong experience in health informatics, change management, and performance improvement, with on-site observation and cross-site collaboration across the Intermountain

Qualifications

• Gap analysis, usability assessments, problem definition and HIT optimization in clinical workflows.
• Influence clinical leaders, providers and nurses in decision making and conflict resolution.
• Apply informatics fundamentals (People, Process, Technology) to improve quality and safety.
• Lead complex informatics projects or initiatives with budget, scope and outcomes in mind.
• Experience with Cerner, Epic or other EHR vendors and health IT systems.
• Training in Continuous Improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Cultivate relationships with executive clinical and business leaders for portfolio success.
• RN licensure must be current where applicable.

• Lead and participate in training, adoption, and process optimization activities.
• Assess workflow data, literature, and standards to improve design and training.

• Support security and compliance considerations in HIT design.
