Job summary
Oracle US is seeking a Lead Clinical Consultant to shape the clinical strategy for Post Go-Live (PGL) Readiness Methodology and lead the Support Readiness Fundamentals series. You will provide clinical expertise during onsite and virtual Readiness events, guiding teams and ensuring smooth execution across healthcare IT projects.
The ideal candidate has RN or clinical licensure, 8+ years in clinical informatics, and strong Oracle Health/Cerner knowledge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, or related field.
- Master’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, or MBA (preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in clinical informatics, healthcare IT, or EHR optimization.
- Expert knowledge of Oracle Health/Cerner solutions, system build, implementation, and workflow alignment.
- Proven project management expertise with experience in clinical transformation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and execution of the Support Readiness Fundamentals series.
- Site readiness leadership to ensure smooth EHR sustainment after go-live.
- Identify and mitigate risks or issues in post-go-live support.
- Serve as the main clinical liaison among informatics, providers, and leadership.
- Partner with Project Manager to ensure on-time project deliverables.
- Develop strategic informatics readiness plans across clinical teams.
- Provide targeted training to informatics teams on sustainment processes.
- Facilitate rapid process improvement and workflow adoption events.
- Assess and improve adoption of new workflows by end users and super users.
