Job summary

Linn County Public Health is seeking a Senior Health Education Specialist to lead the development and implementation of the Community Health Assessment (CHA) and the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). You will use data-driven strategies to guide policy, systems, and environmental changes while ensuring inclusive community engagement and clear communication across diverse populations.

• Master’s degree in Public Health or related field is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in public health or related field required.
• Experience in planning, development, and implementation of CHA/CHIP is highly preferred.

• Evaluate activities and outreach to determine efficiency and effectiveness of services.
• Monitor, track, and report progress on community health projects and outcomes.
