Job summary

Alliance Health is hiring a Medical Economics Sr Analyst for a full-time remote role based in North Carolina. The analyst will lead detailed statistical analyses of care utilization, premiums, and Medical Loss Ratio, and will create dashboards and financial models to evaluate cost-saving initiatives.

The role requires at least five years of analytics/finance experience, strong Excel and SQL skills, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management, Health Informatics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field and at least five (5) years of experience in finance or analytics.

Responsibilities

• Act as team lead for analysis and monitoring of care utilization through the lens of Medical Economics Metrics such as PMPM and utilization per thousand.
• Develop and maintain reports related to Care Utilization, Premium and Pay for Performance plans.
• Monitor monthly utilization patterns and create utilization forecasts.
• Identify cost drivers and work with the Director of Medical Economics to develop action plans.
• Create and maintain financial models to assess the impact of Medical Cost Action Plans.
