Job summary

Alliance Health is seeking a Medical Economics Sr Analyst to join as a full-time remote role based in North Carolina. You will lead analyses of care utilization, premium and MLR, build financial models, and develop dashboards using SQL, Excel and MicroStrategy for stakeholders.

Some travel to the Morrisville home office may be required for onsite meetings. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's in a related field and at least five years in finance or analytics, with strong Excel/SQL skills,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field required.
At least five years of experience in finance or analytics.
Strong Excel and SQL skills.
Ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead analysis of care utilization and related metrics (PMPM, utilization per thousand).
Develop and maintain reports on care utilization, premium and Pay for Performance.
Create utilization forecasts and identify cost drivers.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define reporting requirements.
Build financial models to assess impact of Medical Cost Action Plans.
Assess financial impact of NC Medicaid Tailored Plans changes.
Partner with Utilization Management on cost analyses for new services.
