Job summary

Telligen is seeking a data analyst with strong SQL skills and 3-5 years of experience to manage data workflows and support product operations. You will load and optimize large datasets, write queries, and collaborate with DBAs to improve performance.

Responsibilities include maintaining the Data Management Team playbook, documenting processes, and mentoring teammates. A degree in a related field is preferred, with attendance and reliability as essential traits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency with SQL and MS SQL Server; Redshift or PostgreSQL a plus.
• 3-5 years' experience in data analysis or design of analytical reports.
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field or equivalent training or experience.
• Experience with data mapping and problem solving.
• Preferred experience with SQL Workbench, PowerShell, or IntelliJ.
• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work ticket requests in Jira; monitor daily jobs and ensure system operations; analyze and execute SQL queries; load large data files into a complex relational database; assess processes and data for practical solutions.
• Create SQL queries based on customer requests to support product operational needs.
• Research data inquiries and collaborate with database developers and DBAs for optimization.
• Participate in team meetings; report status and roadblocks; provide backup for teammates; mentor others.
• Create and maintain documentation for data management activities, including the Data Management Team playbook.
• Create and manage User Stories through Jira to track tasks and projects.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
