Job summary

Aptive seeks a Health Systems Specialist Senior-Level to support the VA VHA OCI on the OIP contract. You will build analytics and dashboards using VA data sources, then help teams operationalize them across Interoperability and Clinical Informatics Solutions areas.

Work within SAFe Agile Release Trains with analysts, informaticists, and VA Business Owners. The role covers portfolio value measures, VHIE reporting, EHR issue management, and patient safety analytics, with focus on data quality and

Qualifications

Master’s degree required.
Minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
Knowledge of VA databases and interrelationships (CDW, VSSC, VHIE) as they relate to informatics environment.
Experience building dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
Must reside in the United States with U.S. work authorization and be able to obtain VA clearance.

Responsibilities

VA Data Integration using VA databases and their interrelationships (CDW, Summit, VHIE).
Dashboard Development for OCI leadership using Power BI or Tableau.
Portfolio measures visualization for Epic/Feature value and data provision to OIP Integration team.
Interoperability analytics for VHIE exchange volume, data quality, and partner performance.
Clinical informatics analytics for EHR issues, Oracle Health queues, and patient safety monitors.
Advise on how new data sources and tools fit into VA’s informatics environment.
