Job summary

Partnership HealthPlan of California is seeking a Senior Healthcare Data Analyst I to develop analytic solutions supporting utilization management, care coordination, quality improvement and population health. You will analyze claims and enrollment data, build predictive models, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for leadership.

The role requires proficiency with SAS/SQL and Tableau, and experience handling large data sets in a health plan environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with concentration in health informatics, health administration, public health, computing, epidemiology, statistics or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with health plan operations: claims processing, membership, provider, and benefits; SAS and/or SQL experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to gather and integrate data from disparate sources.
• Respond to ad hoc data requests from leadership.
• Design and develop data collection, aggregation, analysis, and reporting to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and interpret data analyses; provide recommendations for improvement of data quality and reporting.
• Build, manage, and/or enhance predictive models.
• Assess reporting and automation requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of health plan operations and pay for performance programs.
• Present data and conclusions to non-technical audiences using visuals and summaries.
