Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an experienced contracts specialist to manage the negotiation, execution, and maintenance of vendor contracts. You will coordinate with Legal, review processes, and ensure proper documentation and signature.

The role requires knowledge of HIPAA, Medicare/Medicaid contracts, and training staff on contract standards, with collaboration across Intermountain entities. Onsite interviews may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Five years of experience analyzing contracts and language.
• Intermediate experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Excellent writing, editing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the contract approval process, coordinating with Legal and internal stakeholders.
• Assists in developing and amending standardized contracts and negotiates non-standard ones.
• Ensures compliance with government contracting standards for Medicare, Medicaid, FEHB.
• Provides training on contract creation, negotiation, and maintenance to staff.
• Coordinates contracting efforts with other Intermountain entities.
