Job summary

Johns Hopkins Health Plans is seeking a Senior Business Analyst in Health Services to drive data analysis and process improvements across clinical teams. You will design reports, identify trends, and translate data into strategic recommendations to improve end-to-end delivery.

You will collaborate with IT and analytics to implement reporting solutions, present findings to leadership, and support decision-makers with actionable insights in a healthcare managed-care environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a healthcare business analyst role.
• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience with clinical healthcare data and healthcare reporting.
• Experience with medical management data (Utilization & Care Management) for health plans preferred.
• Healthcare/business analytics experience in managed care.
• Experience with Epic SlicerDicer a plus.
• Bachelor’s in Business, Healthcare Management or related field; experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems using data from internal and external sources.
• Identify trends and patterns to guide decision-makers.
• Construct forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans.
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs.
• Collaborate with clients to tailor analyses and reports.
• Present analysis results in management reviews and recommend actions.
• Work with IT and Analytics Center of Excellence on data reporting needs.
