Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience working in an actuarial field, with health and benefits consulting experience
• Pursuing ASA designation
• Client facing experience
• Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal, benchmarking and related underwriting health and welfare projects.
• Review data analyses conducted by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and contribute to their development.
• Embrace AI and technology-enabled tools in daily work.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software, with potential specialization in healthcare insurance areas.
• Draft and review client reports or presentations to summarize findings and recommend strategies or solutions.
