Job summary

Recology’s Sacramento-based Service Center seeks a Senior Application Analyst specialized in HCM and Payroll. You will oversee JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Taleo, and related ERP modules, translating business requirements into configuration, reporting, and enhancements.

You will lead complex projects, coordinate security, testing, and upgrades, and drive continuous improvement across HR, payroll, and finance processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of functional experience supporting HCM, Payroll, ERP, Finance, or related enterprise applications.
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or comparable ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of HCM, Payroll, Finance, reporting and compliance‑related business processes.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior escalation point for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with primary focus on HCM and Payroll.
• Lead analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for configuration, reports, interfaces, and system enhancements.
• Own and maintain complex functional configuration across HCM, Payroll, Taleo recruiting and onboarding, Finance, and related ERP processes.
• Lead production support, enhancement analysis, issue resolution, and project activities across HCM, payroll, Time & Attendance, finance, and compliance.
• Analyze and resolve complex integration, data, reporting, and process issues across HCM, Payroll, timekeeping, benefits, finance, and third‑party systems.
• Guide business teams, consultants, vendors, and cross‑functional partners through configuration options and best practices.
• Act as the primary senior point of contact for assigned systems and modules, including configuration decisions, software updates, testing, and project deliverables.
• Lead review, testing, release planning, and implementation of system upgrades, patches, fixes, and enhancements with change management and governance.
• Partner with the security team to establish user access and protect application security integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement by streamlining processes and maintaining current documentation.
