Job summary

Recology in Sacramento seeks a Senior Application Analyst specializing in HCM and Payroll to drive enterprise system optimization. You will act as a senior SME for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, resolve complex issues, and guide cross-functional teams through configurations, reporting, and integrations.

The role covers HCM, Payroll, Taleo, Finance, and related ERP processes, with a focus on security, upgrades, testing, and production support. A strong background in ERP and data analytics is essential.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of functional experience supporting HCM, Payroll, ERP, Finance, and related enterprise apps.
• Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne or comparable ERP platforms.
• Knowledge of integrations, reporting tools, databases, and tech platforms for ERP/HCM/Payroll.
• Knowledge of testing, planning, and strategies to ensure software quality across development stages.
• Project management experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior escalation point for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and related ERP apps, focusing on HCM and Payroll.
• Lead analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into functional specs for config, reports, interfaces, and enhancements.
• Own and maintain complex functional configurations across HCM, Payroll, Taleo, Finance, and related ERP processes.
• Lead production support, enhancements, issue resolution, and project activities across HCM, payroll, time & attendance, and finance.
• Analyze and resolve complex integration, data, reporting, and process issues across HCM, Payroll, timekeeping, benefits, finance, and third-party systems.
• Guide business teams, consultants, vendors, and cross-functional partners on configuration options and best practices.
• Act as primary senior contact for assigned systems, including configuration decisions, updates, vendor coordination, testing, and project deliverables.
• Lead review, testing, release planning, and implementation of system upgrades and changes with governance.
• Partner with security to establish user access and protect application security architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement by documenting processes and mentoring analysts.
• Support future HCM/Payroll modernization through requirements and data/integration analysis.
• Play a key role in ERP transformations and integrations.
