Job summary

Mathematica, Inc. seeks a Managing Consultant to advance HCBS policy and LTSS program design, with emphasis on service design, reimbursement policy, and CMS submissions. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, engage state officials, and develop analytic products and proposals.

Remote eligible with national scope and strong collaboration across stakeholders. Candidates should have a master's in a relevant field and 5+ years of healthcare policy/program management, with deep LTSS and HCBS waivers

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public policy, public administration, public health, healthcare administration, business, or related field (or equivalent)
• At least five years of experience managing complex healthcare projects or health policy
• Strong understanding of community LTSS programs including HCBS waivers and Medicaid benefits and related federal regulations

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to improve, implement, monitor, and advise on state policy and programs
• Provide consulting to state and local clients and assist with CMS submissions and policy development
• Oversee project timelines and budgets and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Author client memos, TA tools, and analytic reports
• Conduct research using quantitative or qualitative methods
• Lead proposal development for new projects
• Represent the company through publications, conferences, and communications
• Interact with state officials to implement and assess programs
• Contribute to growth and expertise of other state health and Medicaid staff
