Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Sr Engineer for HIG HBM SOC verification. You will develop test plans at the SOC level, build verification environments, and run random/directed tests in RTL and GLS to verify complex SOCs.

You will review specifications and collaborate with IP vendors to ensure proper verification collateral. You will work with customers to address verification/validation requirements, support HBM architectures, identify quality issues, and help reduce power

Qualifications

• SoC or IP verification expertise is required.
• Write tests and verification environments using SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Build or validate verification environments for complex SOCs.
• Collaborate with IP vendors to verify IP integration.
• Gate-level simulation (GLS) experience is required.
• Python programming skills are expected.
• Knowledge of UCIE, memory controllers, NOCs, MBIST or ATPG scan controllers.
• Understanding of DRAM operation and JEDEC specs for HBM.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans at the SOC level and analyze coverage.
• Build verification environments to verify complex SOCs.
• Develop random and directed tests in RTL and GLS environments.
• Review architectural specs to ensure high quality.
• Collaborate with customers to understand verification requirements and provide collateral.
• Engage with customers to support HBM architectures and identify innovations.
• Work with IP vendors to ensure proper verification collateral is provided.
• Identify quality issues, performance problems, and opportunities to reduce power consumption.
• Debug and identify root causes of pre-silicon and post-silicon issues in HBM products.
