Job summary

Beehive Industries seeks a Senior Engineer, Design & Modeling – Harness to lead the design and lifecycle management of electrical harnesses for aerospace systems, collaborating with controls, systems, manufacturing and quality teams.

You’ll own routing, 3D models and wiring diagrams, specify components, create documentation, support integration and testing, and mentor junior engineers to deliver manufacturable, compliant solutions across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace, or related technical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of electrical harnesses and related components from concept through production.
• Own wire harness routing designs and wiring diagrams; generate 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Define and select electrical components (connectors, cables, wires, shielding, backshells) based on requirements.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation including interface control drawings and change requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and support design reviews.
• Analyze harness designs for manufacturability, reliability, and system integration requirements.
• Support system integration, fault management, testing, and verification across lifecycle.
