Beacon Biosignals in Boston is seeking a hardware and firmware test engineer to advance EEG and Home Sleep Test systems. You will own hardware characterization, verification tests, and documentation to meet quality and regulatory requirements, collaborating with hardware, firmware, system, and software engineers.

This role requires a BS in engineering and 5+ years of experience (or MS with 3+ years), RTOS-based embedded software, Python scripting, and experience with Git/JIRA and GitHub.

Formación

• BS in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience (BS) or 3+ years with MS.
• Experience writing requirements, test plans, and reports.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Experience with RTOS-based embedded software.
• Python scripting experience.
• Experience with Git/JIRA and GitHub.

Responsabilidades

• Develop hardware and firmware tests and documentation.
• Create test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded systems.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software teams.
• Verify compliance with FDA/CE 60601 where applicable.
