Job summary

Beacon Biosignals is seeking a hardware test engineer specializing in hardware and firmware to advance EEG and Home Sleep Test systems. You will design and execute tests, develop test plans and scripts, and work closely with hardware and software teams to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

You will document processes, contribute to product development from concept to production, and support manufacturing with robust test solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience writing requirements, test plans, and reports.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and follow schematics.
• Experience with embedded software on RTOS.
• Experience troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of hardware/firmware issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute device testing per QMS requirements.
• Create test plans, protocols, and scripts for embedded hardware/firmware/software.
• Develop and maintain test fixtures, procedures, and equipment.
• Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing on hardware and firmware.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware engineers to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements (FDA, CE, 60601).
• Implement process improvements and test automation to improve quality and efficiency.
