Centegix in Annapolis, MD is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Engineer to enhance the CrisisAlert system's quality. This role will engage in hands-on lab work, focusing on designing and deploying hardware and firmware for testing while applying industry-standard protocols.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in test engineering, validating embedded systems and designing test plans. Benefits include participation in bonuses, health plans, 401(k) contributions, and ample paid time off.

Qualifications

• 6 years of professional test engineering experience in embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience validating low-power embedded systems using industry-standard methodologies.
• Experience with firmware verification, communication protocols, and diagnostic and measurement hardware.
• Test automation in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Skilled with lab equipment for hardware-level diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain hardware for HIL test jigs.
• Apply industry-standard testing protocols for embedded systems.
• Execute comprehensive test plans for firmware deployments.
• Use lab equipment for signal-level diagnosis and debugging.
• Develop and maintain automated test workflows.
