Job summary

Axon is seeking a Principal Hardware Systems Architect to own system architecture and cross‑disciplinary decisions for complex, battery‑powered hardware, including EVT/DVT/PVT, certification, and manufacturing ramp. You will partner with EE, RF, SW, and ME leaders to define requirements and drive design reviews, with hybrid on‑site work at our hubs in New York City, Boston or Scottsdale, AZ.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hardware engineering experience.
• Experience owning system architecture for complex hardware.
• Experience with EVT/DVT/PVT, certification, and manufacturing ramp.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture with cross‑disciplinary design.
• Lead requirements, verification, and validation planning.
• Drive cross‑functional design reviews and risk mitigation.
• Partner with ODM/JDM and manufacturing for production readiness.
