Job summary

AWS is seeking a Supply Chain Product Manager in Austin, TX to ensure interconnect components are ready for hardware launches. You will align component readiness with product timelines, identify supply risks, and enable scalable, resilient component selection.

Responsibilities include partnering with hardware teams on roadmap alignment, early design influence, BOM risk assessment, alternative sourcing, and risk reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
• 8+ years of experience in CSP, hardware, or supply chain roles.
• Experience analyzing component level risks or BOM.
• Experience with cables, connectors and sockets.

Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap Alignment: Partner with hardware engineering teams to ensure component readiness aligns with product development timelines and mitigate gaps.
• Early Design Influence: Engage early in concept/design phase for component selection, input on supply resilience and multi-sourcing.
• BOM Risk Assessment & Mitigation (NUDD): Analyze BOM to identify risks and drive cross-functional mitigation plans.
• Alternative Sourcing: Identify high-risk components and enable alternate solutions ahead of milestones.
• Risk Visibility & Reporting: Develop clear visibility into component risks and escalate as needed.
