Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Product Manager to ensure Interconnect components are ready for new hardware launches. You will align component readiness with product timelines and drive mitigation plans to support large-scale deployments.

You will engage with engineering early in design to optimize for multi-sourcing, analyze BOM risks, and manage cradle-to-grave sourcing decisions. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and data-driven risk management.

Qualifications

• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to business and technical audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in CSP, hardware, or supply chain roles.
• Experience analyzing component level risks or bill of materials (BOM).
• Experience with cables, connector and sockets.

Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap Alignment with hardware engineering teams and development timelines.
• Early Design Influence on component selection for resilience and multi-sourcing.
• BOM Risk Assessment & Mitigation from NPI to MP including NUDD considerations.
• Alternative Sourcing by identifying high-risk components and enabling early qualification of alternatives.
• Risk Visibility & Reporting to communicate risks and mitigation status to stakeholders.
