Qualifications

• Education & experience: BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 15+ years hardware security/embedded experience.
• Deep knowledge of networking systems, board-level design, FPGA/ASIC development, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated leadership driving hardware security strategy at top-tier networking, semiconductor, or hyperscale cloud company.

Responsibilities

• Set security standards and technical direction for hardware and embedded software across Cisco’s product portfolio.
• Architect roots of trust and platform firmware resiliency as building blocks of secure-by-design systems.
• Advise BU engineering leaders on embedded security decisions and translate trade-offs into business outcomes.
• Engage with industry standards bodies and translate security requirements into Cisco roadmaps.
