Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Principal Hardware Security Architect to define security architecture for next‑gen SoCs and GPUs. You will lead mitigations for physical attacks, fault injection, and side‑channel risks across packaging, interconnects, and silicon, collaborating with hardware, software, research, and customers.

The role requires 15+ years of relevant experience and an MS/PhD in EE/CS/CE, with deep ASIC/SoC security expertise and the ability to guide global security roadmaps and AI-driven

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• 15+ years of meaningful hardware security experience or research.
• Deep knowledge of ASIC/SoC security architecture and secure boot.
• Experience with physical attack mitigations and side-channel defenses.
• Familiarity with OCP S.A.F.E. or similar security frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define the security roadmap across SoCs/GPUs.
• Research and implement physical attack mitigations and standards.
• Develop threat models for advanced packaging and photonics.
• Evaluate AI-assisted security verification methods.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and industry bodies.
