Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Hardware Security Architect to define and guide security architecture for our SoCs and GPUs. You will work hands-on with diverse teams across NVIDIA and partners to meet security requirements for mobile, automotive, gaming and server platforms.

The role requires a BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, with expertise in ASIC/SoC design, Verilog, C/C++, ARM, Python/Perl, and security

Qualifications

• BS, MS, PhD (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 8+ years of meaningful relevant work or research experience.
• Experience with the ASIC design process and architecture of large SoCs or GPUs.
• Programming and debugging fundamentals across languages such as: C/C++, Verilog, ARM assembly and Python/Perl scripting.
• The ability to work in a dynamic customer focused team with strong interpersonal skills are required.
• Experience with system architecture for Gaming, Automotive, Server or AI platforms and Cryptography: algorithms, standards, implementation and application
• SoC security architecture and security fundamentals including secure boot or measured boot and ARM or RISCV CPU architectures and related security functionality
• Security mitigations against physical attacks including fault injection and side channel attacks
• Remote attestation mechanisms based on TPM or other solutions and Digital Rights Management (DRM) standards
• Security threat modelling and penetration testing and Certification standards and compliance testing

Responsibilities

• Guide platform security roadmap across the company with hardware, software, research and marketing teams.
• Research, design and develop architecture solutions meeting security requirements and standards.
• Review architectural and verification specifications to ensure IPs comply with platform security requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to identify and address security issues and threats.
