Job summary
United States Digital Space LLC in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Quality Control Lead to own IQC operations and production hardware provisioning. You will lead a small team of contractor technicians, troubleshoot on the floor, and ensure fast, accurate inspection against engineering criteria.
The role blends hands-on hardware work with software QA, including Linux scripting, CAN/Ethernet diagnostics, and strict material control.
Qualifications
- 5–7+ years in hardware QA/lead roles in AV/robotics environments.
- Hands-on bench inspection, test equipment, and NCR handling.
- Experience with Linux CLI, Python/Bash, and script debugging.
- Experience leading contractor technicians on a production floor.
- Familiar with ERP/PLM, NCRs, and material holds.
Responsibilities
- Drive IQC daily operations and verify hardware against specs.
- Configure hardware and provisioning with Linux CLI and scripts.
- Perform technical triage and first-line debugging.
- Lead and train contractor QC technicians.
- Enforce material control and quarantine processes.
- Maintain benches and calibration, ensuring ESD compliance.
- Provide cross-functional floor support with Production and QE.
