Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Senior Project Manager for the Rack Solutions team to own end‑to‑end delivery of complex hardware projects with BoMs. This hands‑on role coordinates engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet aggressive customer timelines and requires on-site presence in San Jose.

You will lead multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix environment, traveling as needed and maintaining stakeholder alignment while driving risk management and schedules to on-time

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience with complex hardware projects
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, or equivalent project tracking tools
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in parallel in a matrix environment
• Willing and able to work on-site 5 days per week in San Jose, with travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of complex, customer-driven hardware projects with intricate BoMs
• Coordinate across engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet timelines
• Manage project schedules, risk, material readiness, and cross-functional execution for rack solutions
• Provide on-site leadership and clear communication with stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery
