Job summary

Pura is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Hardware to own the execution engine behind our growing device portfolio. You will drive engineering schedules, manage cross-functional dependencies, and coordinate JDM/ODM partners so programs ship on time, to spec, with no surprises.

You’ll work in a three-way model with Engineering Program Leads and the PMO, owning the execution path, surfacing critical risks early, and ensuring clear timelines before phases.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of engineering program or project management experience in consumer hardware or connected devices.
• Deep experience managing hardware NPI lifecycle and phase gates (EVT, DVT, PVT).
• Proven track record coordinating JDM/ODM partners, contract manufacturers, and vendors.
• Mastery of program management fundamentals: integrated scheduling, critical-path management, dependency mapping, risk management, and status reporting.
• Strong technical fluency across hardware disciplines and ability to earn engineers’ trust.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and influence across teams and executives.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity and a fast-scaling environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain integrated engineering schedules across mechanical, electrical, firmware and manufacturing.
• Drive hand-offs between packaging, testing, beta, manufacturing to catch timing risks early.
• Serve as technical program contact for JDM/ODM and vendor partners; ensure deliverables and dates.
• Track deliverables, maintain risk register, and surface mitigation options.
• Run program cadences and reviews; capture decisions and actions to completion.
• Proactively communicate program status, risks, and timeline changes to all audiences.
