Role summary: The Senior Manager, Consumer Electronics Product Development leads the strategy, HARDWARE development, and commercialization of innovative consumer home entertainment products. This role owns the full product lifecycle, from concept development and market assessment through launch and post-launch optimization. The ideal candidate brings proven experience developing consumer electronics hardware and driving cross-functional collaboration across engineering, merchandising, sourcing, supply chain, and brand teams. Responsible for delivering customer-focused solutions, this leader leverages market insights, product strategy, and project management expertise to accelerate innovation, drive business growth, and bring high-quality products to market that strengthen competitive advantage, enhance the customer experience, and build brand loyalty.
About the team: Our team specializes in developing innovative, high-quality products within the Consumer Electronics category, delivering seamless and intuitive customer experiences. We lead hardware development from concept to commercialization by integrating consumer insights, product strategy, and engineering expertise. Collaborating cross-functionally with Merchandising, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Packaging, Brand Strategy, and Consumer Insights, we create products that balance innovation, quality, accessibility, and value. The team requires experience in consumer audio product development, including hardware design, engineering, and product lifecycle management, to consistently exceed customer expectations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Design, or related field and 4 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in design, merchandising, marketing, or related area.
Application development experience with emphasis on VBA and SQL programming languages, Creative design software, Financial modeling, Leading and completing cross-functional projects, Manufacturing, product development, or packaging, Microsoft Office, Supervisory Masters: Arts, Masters: Business, Masters: Science Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification, Six Sigma - Certification
