Job summary

Hobbsnews is seeking a Senior Hardware Network Fabric Development Engineer in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. This onsite position involves designing high-performance electrical systems, including 100+ gigabit/s electrical and optical links. The successful candidate will lead efforts in simulation, debugging, and documentation.

With a minimum of 10 years’ experience and relevant degrees in electrical engineering, applicants should be skilled in signal integrity, scripting languages, and using electrical design tools. Comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary range from USD 119,500 to 275,000 are offered.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in high-performance electrical design.
• Experience with Ethernet or InfiniBand components.
• RF and microwave design experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and assess 100+ gigabit/s electrical and optical links.
• Create simulation models and execute simulation suites.
• Track and resolve electrical issues through hands-on testing.
