Amazon is seeking an Sr. Manufacturing Engineer – Industrial Engineer for Hardware Engineering to optimize the manufacturing floor for server/rack products.

You will own layout drawings, material flow paths, line balances, and standard work across sites. The role requires 6+ years in high-volume manufacturing, a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, and willingness to travel internationally 25–50% of the time.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high-volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or high-tech hardware.
• 5+ years of manufacturing process development.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the process for an entire family of server/rack products.
• Design and optimize the physical production floor to maximize throughput and balance workloads.
• Perform time/motion studies, line balancing, material flow, workstation ergonomics, capacity modeling.
