Job summary

Amazon Web Services’ Hardware Engineering team is seeking Manufacturing Engineers to own the launch and resolution of manufacturing processes across a global network. You will design tooling and fixtures, standardize tooling worldwide across ODMs and vendors, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.

You will lead the development of test fixtures at server and rack levels, scale tooling across sites, and travel internationally as needed (25–50%).

Qualifications

• 6+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
• 5+ years of tooling and test fixture development.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field.
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing test fixtures at the Server and Rack level.
• Define all processes around the assembly and test fixtures to ensure the desired result.
• Scale up tooling, fixturing and process across our manufacturing network.
• Support global operations through regular domestic and international travel (25-50% of time)
