Job summary

Data Direct Networks is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for Lab & Hardware to coordinate our lab consolidation initiative and support hardware builds across engineering programs. You will ensure the right systems, prototypes, and testing equipment are available when needed, while keeping momentum on R&D objectives.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in technical program management, hardware program management, or lab/data center operations.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating hardware build schedules and dependencies with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills; able to manage a multi-workstream plan with hard deadlines.
• Experience tracking physical hardware assets/inventory at scale, including relocation or reconciliation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize status for engineering leadership.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the lab consolidation initiative end to end — sequencing site moves, equipment migration, and decommissioning across teams.
• Partner with facilities, IT, and hardware engineering on the consolidated lab layout and migration timeline.
• Track milestones, dependencies, and risks; elevate blockers that threaten program timelines or R&D continuity.
• Serve as the R&D-side point of coordination for hardware build requests, ensuring engineering has the systems, prototypes, and test equipment it needs.
• Track build status and dependencies, proactively flagging risks to program milestones.
• Prioritize and sequence competing build and lab requests against program urgency and lab capacity.
