Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in Santa Clara, CA to drive Ops initiatives and enhance the Operations Data Platform. You will lead by defining objectives, roadmaps, and risk assessments while coordinating with highly skilled technical resources to deliver quality solutions with agility and speed.

You will organize planning, engage with Product and Test Engineering teams, define success criteria, and own business use case development, ensuring clear communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in program or project management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with engineers in a dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational, planning, risk management, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Python and Server Hardware.
• Experience in Product Engineering and Test Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Organize and drive planning, requirements, scheduling, and standup/retrospective discussions.
• Engage with Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams to drive Diags projects with Ops.
• Identify project scope, define success criteria, manage initiative risks, and outline resource requirements with business owners.
• Own the requirements & development of business use cases.
• Set expectations with partners, steering committee, and team members regularly, provide project updates, and communicate key decisions on project scope.
• Interact and collaborate with multi-functional teams and different org levels as part of keeping the project on track.
• Provide regular communications to leadership team and Ops stakeholders to set and manage expectations.

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving key Ops and enhancing the Operations Data Platform to turn data into business insights. You will lead this by defining clear objectives, developing roadmaps, assessing complexities and risks, and collaborating with highly skilled technical resources to deliver quality solutions with agility and speed.
