Job summary

Cornerstone Defense LLC seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to advance complex hardware systems. You will analyze hardware architecture, perform procurement, and execute acceptance testing across CONUS sites.

The role requires deep FPGA development expertise, hands-on installation, and thorough documentation to support mission-critical defense programs. Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to apply, and the role is based at Annapolis Junction, MD.

Qualifications

• Fourteen (14) years of experience with Hardware Design and FPGA development.
• Experience with hardware design analysis, testing, and integration.
• Ability to procure, install, and test hardware across CONUS locations.
• Develops and documents hardware engineering plans and site designs.
• Familiarity with installation procedures and site surveys.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware engineering expertise to analyze complex hardware systems and architecture.
• Procure, install, and perform acceptance testing on equipment.
• Configure and document hardware, networking devices, servers, and peripherals.
• Organize hardware installations across multiple CONUS sites.
• Prepare site installation and test reports and engineering plans.
