Job summary

BTS Software Solutions in Annapolis Junction, MD, is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer (Levels I-III) to design and test circuits and hardware for government and commercial applications. You will develop firmware for DSPs, ASICs, and FPGAs and analyze existing hardware for reverse engineering.

Level 1-3 require escalating years of experience and a Bachelor's in Electrical or Computer Engineering, with TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited university.
• Level 1 requires 3 years HDE experience in IC or microelectronic design; Level 2 requires 7 years; Level 3 requires 12 years.
• TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with designing new products and processes and improving and maintaining existing products.
• Communicate with other engineering personnel to coordinate interrelated design and assure project completion.
• Conduct design analysis on components and/or assemblies to ensure cost efficiency, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain documentation for P&R design flows.
• Assist with de-processing electronic components and retrieving firmware or software using approved reverse engineering procedures.
• Design new products and processes and improve and maintain existing products.
• Work with tool and library vendors to develop solutions for P&R design challenges.
• Perform de-processing of electronic components and retrieving firmware or software using approved reverse engineering procedures.
• Integrate new P&R tools and libraries into Government CAD environment and assist other designers.
