Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Hardware Engineering to lead RF/Wireless and digital hardware teams supporting airborne DoD programs.

The role manages budgets, staffing, and supplier coordination while guiding capital and non-capital investments to improve testing capabilities. The candidate will direct RF design, digital hardware (FPGA) and mechanical packaging efforts, ensure MIL-STD-461/RTCA DO-160 compliance, and drive process excellence in a complex DoD program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 12 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment.
• Graduate Degree with 10 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 16 years of experience leading RF and digital hardware design teams within a DoW/DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or review and approve Hardware engineering bids.
• Forecast staff vs demand and develop hiring plans to meet business needs.
• Oversee pilot assembly activities.
• Oversee the environmental lab and testing activities.
• Lead RCCA investigations using disciplined problem-solving methods.
