Lockheed Martin in Colorado Springs is seeking a Level 3 Hardware Engineer Sr with a Final Secret clearance. The role focuses on hardware research, design, development and testing of COTS or custom components for mission-critical systems.

You will install and integrate components into chassis, racks and shelters, prepare documentation, evaluate vendors, and support test reporting. 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree are expected.

Formación

• Computer and Server Hardware Installation experience
• BS degree in a related engineering or technology field
• 3+ years experience in a related engineering or technology field
• Experience with hardware design and documentation
• Ability to read, understand, and modify cable drawings and diagrams
• Must be willing to travel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb steps, stairs, ladders, and step ladders
• An active Secret Clearance is required for consideration

Responsabilidades

• Conducts or participates in the research, design, development, and testing of COTS or custom computing hardware and/or other electrical components.
• Develops designs for the installation of components and assemblies into chassis, racks, cabinets, workstations, customer facilities, and/or shelters.
• Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met.
• Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports.
• The engineer will assist in breaking down tasking, execute assigned responsibilities, and document processes and solutions.
