A leading aerospace and defense company in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Principal Engineer Hardware – Site Engineer. This position supports missile defense operations and requires a DoD Secret clearance. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in a relevant field and extensive experience. Key responsibilities include preparation of site plans, technical communication with various teams, and leadership in project tasks. Competenze

• Currently hold a DoD‑issued Secret security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business needs.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree with appropriate experience.

Mansioni

• Preparation and review of site drawings and plans.
• Act as a technical interface between teams.
• Develop Basis of Estimates and Engineering Estimates.

Conoscenze

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently

Knowledge of engineering concepts and techniques

Proficiency in Microsoft Visio and Excel

Basic understanding of networks

Experience with Agile methodologies

Strong communication skills

Formazione

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field with 8 years of experience

Master's Degree with 6 years of experience

12 years of experience as an alternative to a degree
