Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a senior hardware engineer to build automated test software that validates RF, digital, analog, and power hardware for national security missions.

Design and develop automated test stations, integrate C/C++, Java, and LabVIEW components, and document designs for customers and internal teams. You will work across hardware and software to ensure robust, mission-critical validation in a security-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/EE or equivalent with 5 years professional experience.
• Experience with test solution software development and system integration & test.
• Experience with commercial test equipment (signal generators, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters).
• LabVIEW development and C/C++ software development.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test station software that programs, simulates, and validates RF, digital, analog, and power modules.
• Integrate and validate test software with hardware platforms; troubleshoot issues.
• Produce detailed design documentation and present to customers and internal teams.
• Leverage LabVIEW and MATLAB; work within distributed test environments (Linux/Windows 11).
• Generate costing and proposal data for new business opportunities.
