Job summary

COMSO, Inc. is seeking a senior Hardware Engineer III to lead hardware integration, testing, and sustainment across secure environments. You will guide site surveys, develop engineering diagrams, and ensure robust, reliable infrastructure for mission-critical operations at multiple sites.

The role requires extensive experience with hardware and network infrastructure, strong leadership, and the ability to work in highly secure environments with a TS/SCI clearance and polygraph.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 20+ years’ relevant experience with degree or 25+ years in lieu of degree.
• Extensive experience engineering, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and sustaining complex hardware and network infrastructure.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required; experience in secure environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, integrate, configure, test, and sustain enterprise hardware for mission-critical ops.
• Conduct site surveys to assess infrastructure, equipment, connectivity, and environmental conditions.
• Document existing configurations, site requirements, dependencies, limitations, and infrastructure status.
• Develop and maintain site drawings, diagrams, and as-built documentation for each site.
• Evaluate compute, storage, server, network, and data-center hardware for performance and security.
