Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of experience or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years' experience.
• Experience creating technical documentation related to Configuration Control, Change Management, Trade Studies, and design artifacts.
• Experience developing detailed verification test plans and test reports.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate in a multi-functional environment (e.g., field engineering, supply chain, suppliers, customers).
• U.S. citizenship required due to access requirements under applicable program/contract regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify replacement hardware components, perform trade studies, and select devices meeting requirements.
• Execute preliminary and detailed hardware design activities.
• Conduct device-level bench testing and system-level integration testing for Engineering Change Proposals.
• Develop and review technical documentation across the product lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers during the development cycle.
• Collaborate with Configuration Management, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Lead small hardware development teams in support of Engineering Change Proposals as opportunities arise.
