Job summary

Arrow Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Hardware Engineer in Benton Harbor, MI, onsite. You will design boards with iMX8/iMX9 and ESP32/STM32, develop schematics and layouts in Altium or Cadence, and perform board bring-up and lab testing.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree in electrical/electronics with 8+ years of experience, supports EMI/EMC testing, certifications (FCC, UL), and collaborates with suppliers on component selection and BOMs.

Qualifications

Requires a 4 year degree in electrical/electronics and a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
Supports certification activities for multiple countries (FCC, IC, CE) and debug during certification testing.
Conducts hardware testing in a lab and addresses field-testing issues.

Responsibilities

Design boards with microprocessors (iMX8/iMX9) and microcontrollers (ESP32/STM32).
Develop schematics and layouts using Altium or Cadence.
Perform high-speed interface design, signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis.
Coordinate with fabrication, assembly, and integration teams for bring-up and testing.
Collaborate with customers on component placement and PCB size; select components and create BOMs.
Perform EMI/EMC testing and ensure compliance (FCC/UL) and regulatory requirements.
